Hello everyone and welcome to my first blog!

I can't even begin to tell to everyone how excited I am to be an International Thespian Officer. I had a BLAST this year at ITF. I met so many incredible people, saw some great productions, and went to some awesome workshops. I didn't get to go to as many workshops as I would have liked to because of my ITO candidate schedule, but I did go to a few audition workshops and they were a ton of help! My favorite show at Festival was probably How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. I had a lot of fun watching the show because I was actually in it my freshman year. On day two of Festival I had my college auditions. I wanted to get them over with as soon as possible because those are nerve racking! The audition was in front of college reps from all over the country. Overall, I think my audition went really well. I learned a lot from the audition and I'm very happy that I did it. The dorm I stayed in was called Abel. It was just recently remodeled so it was really nice. It was quite a walk to the Lied though (the auditorium for the main stage shows). The leadership workshop every morning was a ton of fun. The theme for the workshop was superheroes which was really cool. Speaking of superheroes -- that was one of the themes of the dances! The dances at Festival were a blast! I dressed up as a super nerd for that dance.

One of the main purposes of the leadership workshop was to elect the new ITO. Running for ITO was a great experience. I got to meet a lot of new people as I campaigned throughout the week. I was so ecstatic when I found out that I got ITO. One of my main goals this year is to attend as many state conferences as possible. I want to get to know all the thespians in my region, and I think that this would be the most effective way to do so. I am really looking forward to everything this year.

Love you guys!

-Bobby
